Coach Brian Tumpowsky

Coach Brian Tumpowsky is currently the Head Coach at Bucks County Community College and is the Founder, Program Director, and Coach at Princeton Girls (PG) Hoops AAU.  He has been on the coaching staff at Princeton University's Black and White Elite Summer Camps, Nike Summer Camps, and started his own COVID Camp to keep kids active.  He's a former former 3-sport varsity high school athlete, 3-sport captain, and club college player at Division 1 Northwestern University.  As a father of two daughters, he started coaching girls at the YMCA and continued to coach and assist as he created PG Hoops to be the club in Central NJ out of the need for a competitive club for girls in the area.  Founded in Jan of 2015, Coach's teams have included girls from Princeton to East Brunswick to Wrightsville to Florence to West Windsor the chance to play and compete against the area's best.  PG Hoops has played against other top teams in the Tri-State area and accumulated championships through the years, and at the same time supported the growth of players as people and players.  Coach believes in players giving high effort, be passionate about the game, and invest in their skill improvement.  As Coach says, "I'm happy to say that I've never been questioned on this point, and girls keep coming to PGH as a haven for serious play and serious fun.  I use skills and drills, performance training, game strategy talk, and scrimmaging to get the girls prepared for basketball and life."
